The event will begin with a brief introduction to nudge and nudging. Here we will answer questions like what is a nudge? Why do we even need nudges? How do they work? The answer will be given through a range of colourful examples. The aim is to introduce and inspire the participants.
In several industries nudging has become a desired method for behaviour change. In 2017, OECD announced that nudging ‘was here to stay’ - read more. Some reasons for why nudging has become so popular is because of it’s effectiveness, ease of implementation and ethical interventions. But how about nudging in the maritime business? Does it work? We take a closer look at what works and what doesn’t, as well as talk about the possible future of nudging in the area.
Finally, the participants will be encouraged to share their own challenges before the event. Cases shared may be discussed and the participants will have the opportunity to work on their case with simply tools from a nudgers toolbox.
We look forward to share our insights with you!
