How has SECA affected air quality, human health and the shipping industry?
What is air emission performance of scrubbers, LNG and MGO?
What is the level of compliance of SECA?
What are the lessons learned from SECA to the Global Sulphur Cap 2020?
Before the 0.1 % SECA was adopted in the Baltic and North Seas in 2015, there was great fear about the consequences. Since then, little knowledge has been created on the actual effect of SECA in terms of emissions, air quality, human health, and the shipping business.
The three years EnviSuM project has analysed the impacts of SECA. Soon the Global Sulphur Cap 2020 will enter into force. But what can we learn from SECA? Are there lessons to be learned from SECA to the Sulphur Cap? Join the debate in our final conference!
The target group is authorities, researchers, maritime organisations, policymakers, as well as companies that are interested in SECA, Global Sulphur Cap 2020, air emissions from shipping and the impact on health. Participation is free of charge.
