Do you dare to miss out on the future opportunities in the maritime industry? If you just want to learn about the new opportunities or if you are working with safety, commercial, legal or other aspects of Wind, Offshore or Decommissioning, you should participate in this meeting.
We will link the commercial contract side with the operational safety side which will give the audience a holistic picture and a unique opportunity to discuss the standards with the speakers - or what is actually the standards?
Meet 4 specialists from the new emerging industries:
Grant Hunter, Head of Contracts & Clauses, BIMCO will give us a sneak peak into BIMCO’s current project to develop an international marine services agreement for projects to dismantle offshore oil and gas structures and infrastructure.
Further he gives an introduction to the WINDTIME charter party, taking a practical rather than a prescriptive approach to the hire and use of crew transfer and support vessels.
Nick Trier Madsen, Head of offshore Operations & Jens Klit Thomsen, Head of Subsea and Marine, Maersk Supply Service A/S works with Decommissioning and will give an exciting look into the actual operational safety challenges and the gab in standards/ unregulated areas.
Katrine Lee Jørgensen, Marine Operations Manager, Siemens Wind Power will look into the challenge of the offshore wind industry requiring the services of the maritime industry from the safety aspect of vessel chartering, industry standards and lack of same.
Christian Munk, Project Manager, Offshoreenergy.dk explains how MHI Vestas Offshore Wind and SIEMENS Windpower in a project are standardizing outside of their core areas, for example creating a new standard for offshore lifts - increasing safety and saving money!
