Liquified Natural Gas (LNG) has been taken into consideration as the marine fuel to cope with the upcoming Global Sulfur Cap 2020. LNG, which was introduced in the maritime industry barely 20 years ago, is now the center of attention amongst shipowners, LNG suppliers and distributors as well as infrastructure providers. It can reduce up to 90% of sulfur emission comparing with the standard heavy fuel oil (HFO). The question, however, is if there is enough availability in the market, and if so, how to connect the supply chains in order to change the way business has been conducted hitherto.
As a follow up on our successful 3-day conference ‘LNG: Best Fuel of the Future’ we are organizing a half-day seminar, where we put once again LNG in the spotlight.
Come and meet LNG experts from the whole value chain responsible for LNG infrastructure, distribution and regulatory framework and listen to what LNG experts have to say. Gain knowledge and experience based on the real-life cases from amongst others Samsø Municipality/Shipping, Volvo Trucks and Furetank.
You have also a possibility to participate in our seminar The Business Case of Scrubbers which takes place right before LNG and Alternative Fuels of the Future - see the sign up link for the details.
