MAN Diesel & Turbo is a leading supplier of large diesel engines for ship propulsion systems and stationary power supply

Together with the German parent company MAN Diesel SE in Augsburg, the Danish company MAN Diesel & Turbo A/S forms part of the German industrial giant, the MAN Group. The Danish company has units in Copenhagen, Frederikshavn and Holeby.

The staff in Copenhagen develops, designs and sells MAN B&W low speed two-stroke diesel engines for marine and stationary application. Sales and production of engine components and spare parts are also located here. MAN B&W two-stroke engines are global market leaders.

The two-stroke engines are produced in Frederikshavn and by a global network of licensees. The Frederikshavn works also produces four-stroke engines for propulsion, generating sets for generating electricity on board ships and for power plants, as well as gears and propeller equipment.

The sales and service organisation for the generating sets is situated at Holeby.

In Augsburg, MAN Diesel SE develops turbochargers, medium speed four-stroke diesel engines, with large and medium bore, and builds engines in the power range from 3,000 to 21,600 kW.

The organisation encompasses a worldwide network of service centres and offices at the world’s most important shipping hubs
