This year’s European Maritime Day had more than 1200 participants from all of Europe and focused on investments in blue growth - smart and sustainable solutions. It was held in Turku, Finland the 18th and 19th of May 2016 and had an attractive lineup of participants including the Commissioner for Environment, Maritime Affairs, and Fisheries Karmenu Vella.
