The ‘Port Forum’ is a brand new initiative! In MDCE the ports haven’t had the opportunity for a cross corporation between ports stakeholders so far. This very needed steering committee has now fallen into place and is very excited to show you what moves in the Danish port industry. The themes will be relevant for all companies with any kind of port related activities and invites stakeholders to innovate and exchange experiences in order to strengthen the collaboration and hopefully develop new business opportunities.

Finally, we can announce our maritime law steering committee. This means that in the near future we will be able to present you with meetings and events focusing on legal issues relevant to the Danish shipping industry in order for the industry participants to obtain knowledge enabling practical action regarding such issues. 

On 12 September 2016,  we will launch the autumn season with the topic "fire on ships" and we’ve lined up some great speakers, who will give you their perspective on what is required. New rules and regulations have to be developed, new extinguishing methods are required and also we need to reduce the risk of fire on board. 

In MDCE we are dragging no anchors and we like to stay in front of what moves in all aspects of the maritime business. It's a brand new fresh start in EMUC and we have moved away from our former fixed networks, by putting together 9 highly professional steering committees.
