Business and new opportunities for the development of the LNG sector met onboard M/S Stavangerfjord
The conference: LNG: Best Fuel of the Future took place last week onboard Fjord Line’s LNG powered ferry M/S Stavangerfjord, gathering stakeholders from various organisations for a lively 3-day event. The conference and study tour welcomed almost 100 participants and 22 speakers from 19 countries - Europe and beyond. The event wasn’t just about the speeches and presentations. It offered great networking opportunities – even 124 B2B meetings were held onboard.

What is Go LNG Denmark up to?
Go LNG took part in HELCOM MARITIME Green Technology and Alternative Fuels for Shipping (GREEN TEAM) – meeting and the Donsö Shipping Meet 2017. This was the 5th and so far largest event, with some 260 exhibitors and 1,800 people for dinner. For more about the event Donsö: On this tiny island located one hour by ferry from Gothenburg some 11 ship owners are gathered – many of their ships using LNG.

Meet the Go LNG Steering Committee
‘Go LNG Denmark’ is a network established to connect and promote sustainable growth in Danish companies offering and using LNG services, knowledge and technologies. Together we will work to strengthen the development of LNG business opportunities in Denmark, in the Baltic Sea Region and at other international markets. At the MDC, we are delighted to welcome leading, Danish LNG stakeholders to the Steering Committee and together we are looking forward to create future LNG events and business opportunities for all of our members.
Go LNG and EnviSuM was shipped off to Sweden
The Go LNG and EnviSuM projects joint forces and organised a 2-day conference in Gothenburg, Sweden last week. The trip included visits to FordunGas Biogas Plant in Lidköping, DFDS Primula Seaways, the Emerson Solutions factory, a guided tour around the Port of Gothenburg and a visit toNya Älvsborg Emission Measurement Station.

On 26 January, President Doumbia-Henry welcomed the Go LNG project partners to WMU for a strategic partner meeting. In response to the ever-changing situation on the Liquefied Natural Gas (LNG) market, the GoLNG project focuses on the development of demand and accessibility of LNG in the Baltic Sea Region (BSR).
