After the Growth Team in April 2017 announced their 52 recommendations to the Government, the Danish Maritime Fund's Board has discussed how to support selected initiatives from these recommendations.

Rainmaking Innovation held the first Maritime & Transport Hackathon over this weekend. A total of 12 teams where cracking on real challenges presented by the sponsors: INTTRA, NORDEN and DFDS. After 48 hours on pizza, Redbull & coffee the teams presented their solutions for the jury Sunday afternoon.

All kinds of gadgets and the newest technology were presented and experienced at the ”Sci-fi Gadgets” event at Aalborg University, Campus Copenhagen on the 12th of June. ‘Go LNG Denmark’ is a network established to connect and promote sustainable growth in Danish companies offering and using LNG services, knowledge and technologies. Together we will work to strengthen the development of LNG business opportunities in Denmark, in the Baltic Sea Region and at other international markets. At the MDC, we are delighted to welcome leading, Danish LNG stakeholders to the Steering Committee and together we are looking forward to create future LNG events and business opportunities for all of our members.

Yesterday, When MDC, WISTA and MARsters lined up and opportunity for our members to go networking at our Summer Business Networking. No less than a 100 people grabbed the chance and gathered at J. Lauritzen’s roof top terrace. We know the importance of networking! Thus, we want to repeat the success and we give you an opportunity to do this again and are aiming to make this an annual event. But it doesn’t stop there. We have created a similar event at the bar at Ultragas on January 18th.
